So, I spent $40 on a pack of DVD-R+DL discs.
I went to Xbox 360 ISO and downloaded a game to make sure it worked. Made a dvd file, etc, used some special burner program thing and followed a youtube vid's instructions. Went through effortlessly. I put the disc into my xbox, shit doesn't work. It was a while ago but I think it said watch dvd or something like that. My driver is a HL-DT-ST DVD+- GSA-H73N ATA Device.
I know you need a dvd+dl driver, but I thought it would work either way. Is there any way you can make it be able to burn like a dvd+dl, or do i need to buy one?
If so, how expensive are they?
On Amazon they are selling for around $44 dollars. So the regular price is probably around $50?

depends on what you want as my friend mac said 45-50$ but it does depends!
and yes they are pretty easy
You do have a flashed console, right? You can't play burned games unless your console is flashed.

I'll only use it for burning games.

Isn't that a lot of complicated stuff like taking apart your xbox and your computer and all that shit?

Yeah, shouldn't take to long if you know what to do.
If you're going to buy a DVD+R DL burner, I suggest buying a LiteOn. Best you can get, and I guarantee success for all games you burn.

Yes. You have to flash the console's disc drive in order to play the burned games. Most PC's come standard with DVD+R DL burners, so that normally doesn't play a factor. LiteOn burners are the best at it, though.

My PC is pretty old. I can't even play AVA or CrimeCraft on it.
Is flashing risky? I don't wanna accidentally fuck up my system. I tried to use my old 360 harddrive on my 360s and it wouldn't even fit. Lost everything for nothing.

Modding your console always has some risk of failure, but if you follow the tutorials I've posted exactly, then you shouldn't have any problems. How old is your PC?

I don't even remember when we got it. Like... 4/5+ years?

Do you know if the motherboard has SATA ports? You'll need a spare one in order to flash the 360.
