Been working on this in Photoshop and I'm about half done with it...

Should I release it when I'm done or no?

Why do you ask us. If you release everybody is happy and u get ur thanks.
I don´t like it but other may like it

It's pretty nice,maybe arrange a bit the "Cross Fire" text , and it will be awesome.

You should do 2 versions with different colours and you always need to post the finished version.(When you almost finished post a screen shot of the mod so you can get some Cnc)

It's your choice. You can release it if you want. If you don't want to release it and just use it for yourself that's fine too.
