Picture it.. It a called a Hook. When i thinking of a hook, I think of a device that keeps the fish attached to a string

Hook keeps your hack attached to application.
DirectX hooks they have many.

Hooking Present
will attach you hack to that function
Everytime PRESENT is called in the application
Because of the HOOK
it will call your function because of it.
