The check is not size-based as supercarz suggested. I tested this by making a few mods that were slightly different, but the same size (down the the byte). It still finds them to be modded. This means that there is some sort of checksum process in the loading of the files. We need to create a bypass to allow modding. There are two options: change the pre-defined values for what the checksum should be (this would only work for a single mod), or completely remove the process.

First, we need dumps of cshell and engine. Then we need some of the better hack coders who are used to sifting through ASM to help us find the checksum algorithm. If we can skip the checksum or force it to find the value it wants, we will be able to mod again.
