yea u should reinstall
(I Try RUn as Administrator) AND reDownLoad CrossFire_Setup_v1058 And i unins000 2 TimE ! And Install Again X-trap CODE_FIELD {08-0400-00000000-504}

i got the same error i what i do was reinstal to my previus version of windows (windows xp sv3) and its works great .. try it man 
so u don't need to do stupid thing like that u jst need to delete the xtarp IF it's not working email them ok
Try to delete/turn off all of you'r hacks.
Turn off you'r Anti-virus/Firewall
Try to run as administrator
Also be sure do this step:
Delete whole crossfire+map, and re-install.

Try reinstall it completely, run CCleaner and Run as Adm, this is important for Vista/Seven users.
