Mabye when you changed the mpgh.net server the ip changed?
The ips in the hosts file might not be correct anymore. Whenever i got to minecraft.net, it says MOVING HOSTS. FLUSH YOUR DNS IF YOU SEE THIS. It usually redirects me to mpgh.

It's the new server IP for mpgh.net and it's working for me.

The fatal error (4) that was mentioned has nothing to do with MPGHcraft. It happens when the server your downloading the jars from (when updating) gets overloaded.

Actually the problem stopped when I updated the ip addresses in the hosts file, so it has to do with possibly not getting the correct server version and assuming it needs to update.

Sh0cky is correct. The IP adress was being switched so that the server could be just a bit less laggy and better. Change your IP and your good to go.

why do you have to be mem for that server ????? thats not realy smart better they make it free so i can play to you now

Registration is free.

Edit your hosts file to:

65.254.62.146 minecraft.net
65.254.62.146 server.mojang.com

To resume playing, server authentication has moved.

When i try to launch minecraft i log in with my mpgh account it say login failed
1.using the files from MPGH
2.edited all that host file shit
3.If I try play offline and do multiplayer it doesn`t work
says "user not premium"

Cause your in 1.5_01. This is a 1.4_01 server still
