New Computer, or Better Internet?

I can't decide. Help and why, please?

my internet is about 156 k/b, or should I get a gaming tower around $650? (can't make a poll, I'm on my iTouch.)

You wont be ably to do much with that new computer with slow internet can you?

But honestly a 1.5Mbit connection is pretty normal. Unless you are making a jump up to >6.5, I would go for a new comp.

I would get internet first, because if you have a gaming computer and slow internet well that fails. BUT
Fast internet and shit computer, you can actually play a decent game, but then you can change into a gaming computer.

No, it's 156 KILOBYTES, not mbits. It's that slow.

If you live in Australia you would be so lucky because here we have TPG ADSL2+ 180GB per month with the payment of $49.90 per month, unlimited downloads.

Your download speed is ~150kbps? If so that that is a standard 1.5mbit connection.

I download at 100-500mbits.

i'm not bsing, you should check out TPG, i'm on 200GB ADLS2+ $50 permonth plan. I can torrent 7gb in about 40 minutes.

I think you mean 100-500 kbps At 500Mb/s you would download that 7gigs in a matter of seconds.

I did a rough calculation. The difference between the bits and bytes and mbits and megbytes is what slows me down.

Depending on where you live, that sounds like an OK deal. I payed about that much where I used to live, for 6.5 mb/s.
