Quick questions

I don't play console games, but I got black ops for my ps3, started playing zombie mode, then thought to myself, "hey I want a weapon hack" so I have a couple of questions

A) does one currently exist - I'm assuming not
B) can you save games to your ps3's hardrive so you can play the game without a disc, and if so could you copy it to your computer and take a wack at editing it?
C) B is a bit complicated, so can you debug games on your ps3, and maybe make a dump
D) Is there a memory editing application for your ps3 (off topic but I got one on my droid and got the global highscore on 5 of the top ten games on the app store - apparently word about the app hasn't got out yet

and finally
E) If there is no memory editing app on a ps3, with a bit of hardware tweaking and lots of soldering fun, can I rig my ps3 to read/write through memory, maybe include a filter, then attach it to my pc (via usb cable) and edit memory in that round about way

F) Does any of that make sense

A) Its possible one exists, but would require some type of modded console for a lobby.
B) I think you can do this on GeoHotz's old custom firmware, but as of now, you can't.
C) So far copying PS3 games onto the PC has been a hassle, and nobody has even bothered trying to do that. So I'd guess no.
D) I'm sure there's memory extraction software. Not so sure about actually editing your saves/files to customize the game.
E) ...
F) E really didn't. But I'm guessing you're looking at similar to jtagging an Xbox 360, and from my knowledge, that hasn't been done yet, or hasn't been needed since GeoHotz.

I answered these to the best of my ability. My Playstation 3 knowledge is somewhat limited, but I do read around and check out some information on it every now and then.

A) One may very well exist but would require a modded lobby
B) This is possible, but is not fully functioning at this point of time I believe. It is known as a PS3 Jailbreak
C) My logical guess to this would be a no, as most games undergo a new encryption when a new console is out and going by the data on a blu-ray disk it would take a while to decrypt so you can debug it.
D) This is possible to do as there was a save file editor for MW2. So yes I can guarantee you can alter the save files some way, I'm guessing a normal hex editor would work, but it's not a guarantee.
E) Why would you do that when you can copy most game data file to USB to begin with? Or if you format an External Harddrive as FAT32 that also works.
F) I had to re-read E but apart from that it was good.

I didn't mean to word e the way I did, I had something else on my mind it should say ps3 and usb should have been usb cable, anyway

I can only answer B

There used to be this thing called PS3 Jailbreak that let you save your disc games and play them from your PS3's harddrive, so you can just borrow one and play it forever, but they stopped making it... or something
