You're right....It's
just the pot calling out the kettle, and nothing more. Hence, it's pointless and not helpful, and that's exactly the point I was making. If you take shortcuts, then it's stupid to call somebody out for taking shortcuts. I guess that my point didn't quite come across the way I intended. It's not a matter of whether or not you *can* be a hypocrite. It's the ********* and you can pretty much say whatever you want without repercussions, so of course you *can* call people lazy all you want. What I was trying to say is simply that the guy asked a legit question about cheating on a forum dedicated to cheating, and instead of just answering him, a bunch of cheaters insulted him for wanting to cheat. Also, you're as guilty as sermonizing as I am, albeit in less length.

You could be right. No real way to argue about a fictional scenario. However, on Combat Arms, they patch aim bots fairly frequently. And even though it may not seem like it at a glance, bots can be a lot more harmful to an instanced MMORPG than a one-shot/godmode hack. The current hack definately gives us an edge, saves us time, helps us level faster, and farm easier. But it doesn't really hurt anybody too badly. Yeah it messes up the prices in the market place a little bit, but there's only so much damage that one person can do with it, especially under the token system. Not only it's low threat level, but the fact that it's an exploit involving a major chunk of the game engine probably is what is causing Nexon to take its time. A bot on the other hand, would let me probably run 4 instances of the game on all 5 of my computers at the same time. One person having 20 characters all farming at the same time, 24 hours a day with no effort or participation on their part would be a lot more of a threat to the games' economy, and thus would have a negative effect on legit players. That would likely create a higher sense of urgency on Nexon's part to patch a bot...plus bots are not hard to detect.
