Quest Bug

>SORTED< I didn't know you could abandon quests with the little eye icon to the right of them. Simply had to abandon one of the overlapping quests which wasn't part of the main storyline and i was able to complete the other one.

Generally i'd request help on the v forums for a bug. However in this case i think it came about due to my playstyle which is influenced by hacking.

In other words, I left pretty much all quests etc and just started doing battles getting fairly far. Ran out of tokens, went to ceara in the mercenary outpost to buy skills and shes bugged on the "Improving your skills" quest. She wont recognize that i've learned staff mastery/ ranked it to e.

This leaves me unable to leave the merc outpost or use any of the buttons/ talk to any other npcs etc. Has anyone encountered this before and/ or no a way around it?

I think it may be something to do with overlapping quests, in that i have two quests with her, one which requires me to purchase and learn staff mastery and the other is to rank it to e. I've done both requirements but can't turn either of these in to her. :| Any help appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. I relogged a good few times when i encountered the problem and then again just abit ago. Same thing, merc outpost is basically unusable as it is atm

Try buying a different skill book to learn for Ceara? Other than that, I'm stumped

instead of reloggin.. go to avatar shop whn it happn again n exist the shop.. n see what happn.. i no that happnes to me sometimes where eveyrhting is just gone n u are stuck with wat eve npc u were talking to.. n no it is not bcaz u are hacking... it just a bug in nexon game vindictus.. not related to hacks.. try what i told u.. n aslo instead of relog.. end game then restart it

The eye just hides the quest, if you tick the checkbox at the bottom of the panel it will show up again. As far as I know there's no way to actually drop a quest. I wonder if you can complete it now that there's no overlap?

Yeah apparantly so, after hiding it with the eye i was in the same situation, in that, the hidden quest was now gone but ceara still wasn't registering my quest complete for ranking a skill to e. So i put in 30 points into one of my two starting spells magic arrow/firebolt and it seemed to work out? Which is strange as i had other skills at rank e.
