I feel so incredibly lame asking this but... Do any of you guys own a 3DS and if yes, what are your friend codes?

I hate it when my 3DS tells me that I have no friends, though it's probably due to the fact that I own a 3DS...

I see no real need to hate Nintendo or the 3DS. Sure, Nintendo products aren't for hardcore gamers, but not all gamers are hardcore.
