Defence?

I have all armor that match my level, which I assume gives me more weapon defence. However, whenever I train, the monsters hit me pretty hard. For example, the monsters a couple of levels down from me hit me about 80-100 and I have no idea why. Is it supposed to be like that, or am I supposed to get something with higher defence.

I have about 94M to blow, what kind of equipment should I get for defence and LUK? (I'm an assassin.)

Weapon defence will decrease the damage. There's a formula for it, but I'm not sure what it is. Luk and Dex will indeed add to evasiveness and W. Def too.

it'll even out eventully.
its normal, the damage varies for certain classes.
meaning some classes have lower hp, dropping you to almost dead.

Wait why do you care that monsters are hitting hard on you?
Buy pots... you have plenty of money to waste.
If you're just wondering, I'm pretty sure most of the damage is based on certain skills and levels, just like accuracy.

Anyways, I care that they're hitting hard on me cause I saw one guy who had crappy armor and was a couple of levels lower than me and the monsters he walked past gave him like 1 damage and when I walked past them, I got hit 80+ so I was thinking that someone was wrong with my character or the stuff I was wearing.

There are other possbilities other than godmode. Long long time ago when maple island was still nooby maple island, mobs did more damage to me as i got higher in lvl :3 but stopped after i got my job
