Its kinda sorta maybe addictive. The graphics look shit, but theyre supposed too.
play it. at first you will be iffy. then after a week or so you will be deciding if you should make a lava or torch chandelier in your foyer to your underground palace.
Try the NetherCraft mod. 
The graphics are good. The skins are meant to look blocky and such. If they wanted a game with all kinds of shapes they could copy roblox
