wasted 5 hours
trying to debug my program, wondering the hell why none of my programs worked.
The reason? I had it in Release mode instead of Debug mode D:<
Therefore, my FTP copy of the file still copied, and so the "Last Modified" time changed, and it replicated itself on 3 other machines as well.
I'm such an idiot, I just needed to flick the switch <<
