Vote Kick Feature - Info in OP 04 26, 2011 /08:48

Hi guys,

So as previously noted in the patch details, the 1.4 patch includes a vote kick function however there seems to be a bit of confusion as to what this entails exactly. The vote kicking function operates via console commands. It's not a HUD/GUI type setup.

How to initiate a kick:
• Open your console with (~) or (`) key by default.
• Type in votekick playername (where playername is the name of the player you wish to kick) and press enter.
• You can also hit TAB to complete a sentence, so type the first few letters of the players name then hit TAB.
• A message will appear on screen: "Vote to kick playername initiated"

How to vote:
• Open your console with (~) or (`) key by default.
• Type in vote and press enter.
• You don't need to use vote yes or vote 1.
• In order to vote no, simply don't vote at all.

Information:
• Required Votes for successful kick - 51%
• Default timeout for kicked user is 10 minutes. You will not be able to rejoin the same server in that time.
• 3 minute cooldown before user can call another vote if unsuccessful.

To be honest, great game tittles are really rare and pirated, we have to wait like 1-2 years see a really good SinglePlayer Game tittle, in order to kill piracy and follow up the new trend in gamming, companies invest further in Online multiplayer so they can kick illegal players out. This cat and mouse game will never be over. Both sides are equal companies got the Money and hackers got the will and energy to crack.

p.s. I support open source and free software and I use pirate software and hacks because I don't own the buck$

Crysis 2 is so broken...I mean great game it is just so broken, so easy to hack. Still, pirates/hackers do take it too far sometimes and now most games are sacrificing alot in the way of preventing hackers by focusing on the multiplayer.

Anyway, Crysis 2 is still a fun game, its just not much fun to play anymore cause I always seem to get one shotted. Or two shotted, still sucks until i figure out a demigod mode that works...

Focusing on the multiplayer, why will u hack in singleplayer ? Lol,
The are wining now,
1. Cuz now the have solid protection. Even more than solid!
2.More money , from us. And Crackers with medium skill, are not able to crack it. High level skilled win not do this for free.

We have beta, and we still are not able to crack it.
So for what part u say that is easy to hack?

Seems to me hte major problem is no1 WANTS to crack this game or hack it.

Everything is crackable. If you've seen what happened with iPhone 3Gs and its new bootrom few years ago, Apple has billion of income per day comparing EA games which is nothing in front of Apple. I don't believe that hackers do stuff for money, most of them find hacking as a challenge and ask for Donation. Jailbreak for example is free! They could have charge each jailbreak for 1$ which is not a big deal of money for an iPhone user if you think the benifits, now multiply the people who own a jailbroken phone you will be Shocked, a draft number of 5.000.000 globaly *1$=??

Most hackers ask for Donate. Those who demand money are greedy people or people who desperatly need the money.
Beta Crysis Server has huge difference with Retail server. Also they have leaked hole game once with even developer files in. No1 is perfect, how the hell they let hole game get slipped into torrents! One day is the game and someday there will be the Retail Server, someday.
