What do u mean, vpn?
msot people outside of us play by AOL, VPN, or some other proxy... but playing that way will always be much laggier than playing it the way its meant to be played. the EU version is coming.. so just hold tight

o-o i dont lag at all.. i just changed my video settings a bit and raised the games brightness to full.. made my FPS go up by over 30 lol.

although i do have a glitch with my cinematic audio which is annoying.. but thats nothing new.. thats just my audio device being old.
when i had proxy running i didnt had lagg.

Pay for a decent vpn and you won't lag.
VPN is not the same as Proxy... Also, I think it's more of a connection issue or the fact that the VPN you use sucks. I play Heroes XE from US and I can both host and join boats. The lag is very minimal.
If you got a good proxy, it doesnt lag at all

How did you manage to make an account for heroes?
Well Anni, knowing korean would help, but I admit I don't know it. There are a couple of guides out there translating the registration interface (which is what was challenging for me to deal with since google-translate fails with Nexon KR pages).
This really doesn't belong in this thread but, just look for a KSSN (not sure what's the mortality rate but there are a load online), and be patient to find one that's AVAILABLE (too many players snatching this) and between the ages of 15-19, so that you aren't required to verify your identity via SMS. And if you have a korean friend, you can always ask that they make an account for you: you're allowed 3 accounts per SSN.
The search, of course, needs to be made in korean. Wiki explains the format of KSSNs, as opposed to our SSN; just search for "Social Security Number yymmdd" in korean and you'll find what you need. Installing the language package to use the korean keyboard layout with MS IME will also be helpful to type out the captcha on the registration form. You can also use the character map to copy/paste syllables, but that's rather annoying.
PS: make sure to use Google Korea or Google China to get better results
