I'm going to grow my hair out (not too long), im getting gauges in my ears, and full sleeves + tattoos on my back.

haven't consulted my parents about this

Just make sure you cover them up for job interviews.

It's fun to have big dreams of being a rock star,
but the reality of this happening is slim to none.
The last thing an interviewer wants to see on a possible job candidate is:

Full sleeves.
Gauges.
Facial tattoos.
Facial piercings.
Excessive facial hair not groomed properly.
A mullet
