The Joe one's good, but not enough lighting variations, and the contrasts too bland.
On both shen and dexter, the pics aren't blended properly. Get in a c4D or fractal or 2 behind/around them to really get them into the sig, not just brushing. Also, fix up the border on Joe and repair the "blood" text on Dexter.

The adjustment layers you used are put on too much opacity.
