Consoles are way more popular since they're affordable; you don't have to upgrade your hardware to play the most recent games, no conflicting drivers, incompatible software, etc. Shit is made to work. And for the PS3 fans who still claim its better than the 360, specs have proved the 360 is still better than the PS3, even after giving Sony a year to come out with something better.

Console gaming is holding back gaming in general. It used to be that PC games set the standard for consoles, now its the other way around meaning all these crap games come out because they had to be scaled back for consoles. Don't forget that the 360 is almost 6 years old now. If developers set their attentions back onto PC gaming then you would see games that would shit on consoles in terms of physics/graphics etc.

I know this good and well, since I play both PC and consoles. Just have to remember its all about how much money they can make off their product, and right now, not many people have the ability and the resources to build a great gaming PC, and since consoles are generally cheaper and more streamlined than any other system, people are going to pick them.

no obviously both consoles are great.only reason for buying xbox is well security now but not 2 worried and for online.
my cousin has an hdmi cable and we played xbox on my tv graphix wernt' as good as ps3's.
playstation move is better then kinnect because its more accurate. all in all i would buy both but don't feel like wasting 50 bucks for a year when i don't play all that much anymore

PS3 has free online play though.
