Is Loading Your Own Maps Possible?
I'm not sure but doesn't Vindictus use BSP for its map files? If so, I wonder if it's possible to use custom maps with the game. It would be fun roaming around a building as a guy with two swords lol! Only problem I can see is loading monsters and all sorts of Vindictus entities or something...

Oh well, just a fantasy for thoughts
Hey, you just found out why Steam is blocked. If it weren't, the injector could do all sorts of fun things with the source engine.

Speaking of which, why doesn't anyone try unblocking Steam? Too hard, perhaps?
You can load your own maps. I've seen a vid with TF2 map... either that or they loaded vin chars into TF2 map :P

Post link or vid?
It's probably a lot easier to just put Vindictus characters in Team Fortress 2.

For example, if I put Portal 2's maps in Vindictus, it would need all the used assets from Portal 2. Then, it's likely there are things in there that aren't supported by Vindictus' engine, which would probably result in a crash. It might be possible to make custom Vindictus maps if you set up Hammer properly.
._. man, you guys just made me feel stupid....
If you want to wander in a map w/o entities the "changemap [mapname]" commands works. Entities spawning would be a different issue.
You can get the models into Gmod. (Google Vindictus model porting tutorial)
I'm sure you can also port objects and entities, with some modifications of course.

So I would say there is a way to load up your own maps, although it may be complex.
I've seen picks of the polar bear and some other Vindictus assets obviously ported into Gary's.
Just tested it with a standard map for GMod (gm_flatgrass). Looks like Vindictus doesnt check the maps folder (or map loading failed, but doesnt show up a loading bar or something similar).
Make sure whatever maps you use are compatible with the 2006 version of the source engine-That's what Vindictus uses. I figured this out when I tried setting up HLDJ. Maaan, that's another thing I really want. Screw level 70 with 2 titles, I wanna spam music in pubs!
