pointers

hey im trying to locate whos telling this ammo pointer to change addresses every time i start a new mission or restart game, i spent 4 hours multi pointing and evey addy leads right back to where i started, the addy im tryin to modify i can mod but cant program to it because its changing, i check what writes to it, gives 4 addys, when adding found addy as pointer with offset all 4 lead back to the ammo addy


any advice?, and its for acb if it matters, couldnt find a memory hacking section so i posted here
