When did this become the norm?

Basically, only offering exploits and commands for an arbitray number of arbitrary posts on a forum. "u needs 20 thx for this". This section is becoming Deathsoft in terms of releases.

It's funny how all of you immediately think that because we don't know the command we're dirty leechers and we shouldn't get a damn thing. What if we have the inability to actually learn the damn thing? Or what if we don't have the resources? It's stupid, and you should all feel bad.

-shrugs- Wasn't my idea, I still release whatever I could find lol, just that if someone does talk to me about it I would probably still take it down to protect their interests if they helped me or something.

It is true that there are people that have very few posts but contributed a lot, like mmavipc. >__> Otherwise, meh. Majority rules.

Well... the latest fiasco on the item creation (they took long enough to shut it down, players' been complaining for a while) while all the information-undisclosure (including the password protected HD console prior to the pw being released) pretty much served to show that hiding information doesn't really help much unless you never share with anyone at all (regardless of thanks or post counts). IMO anyway.

thanks to those who share information out anyway, not just on what but on *how*. It gives us choobs something to aim for based on the little we (well or at least I) have learned in these forums.

Well this happened because people kept hacking publicly and posting on youtube. The smart hackers will never tell anyone at all what they find. And they have every right not to; people who just get the hacks from them lost their trust time and again.

Unless you don`t know english you are very much capable of finding the commands on your own, or making your own console. You can always go learn how to program, you shouldn`t relay on others to do it for you. They own you nothing at all if they find the hacks - they can do whatever they want with it .
I`m not saying you should publicly announce you have that hack and not give it thou, or give it just to a selected group of members. If they publicly announce they have the hack, they should give it aswell :X

Like I said, we were planning on releasing the console to the public,we had to wait for item spawning to be fixed before releasing the console so it wouldn't be abused too badly.

Yea, i kind of agree. If the people who found out about item creation never bragged or even tell people on the forum about it. Then there wouldn't be people begging, crying, whatever over it.
I wished it was like few weeks ago where people just consoled normally.
I'm just saddened by the fact that now all everyone cared about is item creation. Everyone tries to dig around for item creation. Everything revolves around item creation.
Even the attitudes in this forum changed pretty drastically.

I'm with Hitman on this one XD. If you don't wanna share, dont share it. Just keep it to yourself. Don't "show off" and aggrevate other people
