How long has the color feature been there?

And to keep this minecraft related, Ive been working on a texture pack and am getting close to releasing. Thoughts anyone?

Hmm nice texture pack and the color change only for a few hours

Its forum wide, and tbh, I dont really like it. It blends in with the topic titles too much, and makes it kinda confusing to tell the difference between topics with new posts or none.
