rofl.

I bought my GTX 460 about 8 months ago, it still outperforms the new 6970.

GTX 460 Newegg: $155.00
Radeon 6970: $339.00

Take a look at benchmarks.

As for your 'overheating', if you live in a shack with no air cond. you expect your pc parts to work to your expectations?

and if you would have read his entire post, he said he has a shitty PC, now you assume he has a motherboard that supports 2x PCI-e slots? lol...

GTX 460 is still one of the most affordable performance cards out there.
my computer is so shit but my can play any game or even crysis 2 on HIGH Setting

Dell Window 7 Ultimate 32
Ram: 2gb, 2.80 ghz
video card GT 430 1GB

i believe that ATI is Cheaper and has same performance but nVidia still popular like FUCKING Justin Bieber
nVidia is the better for you,The only prob is the cost
Nvidia GeForce 9800 GT

awesome for me. Never below 110fps and doesnt cost that much
I prepare radeon 6850 that cost 200 dollars. 1gb ofc.
Plus it will be good if you crossfire it hahaha maybe you will have a 300+ fps with that.
If you are getting one for Cross Fire, your computer must really suck XD. Just get a cheap one.
If you are getting one for hardcore graphics games, then look below

Also, I'd go with nVidiot because some games don't perform well on ATI because the games are nVidwhores, even though ATI is clearly cheaper and better.

I have a nVidia GeForce 9500 GT ( 1 GB PCI-E ) and it hasn't failed me for anything playing on MAX settings. Though I don't play on a high resolution like everyone else. My desktop resolution is 1024x768 and I usually play windowed 800x600, or if I have to play fullscreen, then 1024x768.

Make sure you check your power supply though and see if you have enough watts for the new video card, because nVidia is a power supply whore. If you don't have enough watts, then you need to get a new one, and I hope you have a lot of space inside your computer, because new power supplies are really a mess

nVidia 8800 GTX is one of the best nVidia cards available atm fyi.
