now who wants a world full of rapists?

do you want your mum and gf to get banged by a stranger ?

actually no, that's fail logic.
Shows what the world is actually like.

i agree
I'd rather not have my children thinking that "1gore, rape, swearing" and "assaults" are normal. Even if you argue that its not , I would hate for the seriousness of those words to be lost because it would be ubiquitous and used carelessly.

GlaDoS/Police: Oh, your girlfriend was raped by this dude when she was young.
Random Dude: Woah! Cool story!
Don't really see what makes a word so damn terrible in some people's eyes. Its just a word.
Religious fags started it. I know this.
Any word is the same. Just a way of discribing an obtject/idea etc.
"Swear words" have no offensive meaning if you don't see it at offensive.
And also the other way round.
Like I could start calling everyone a Jqah and say it's like 1000x as bad an other "swear word". But they don't mind it. Because they themself don't see it as a swear word.

I hope you got what I'm saying.

its the definition behind the word that makes it bad, that's what a language is - symbols that describe objects, actions, feelings...

We speak in English. And in this language called English, those terms are offensive. That's why , and how. And they should be kept that way. Imagine if all adjectives had the same "power". Liking your girlfriend would be equivalent to living her. To describe your hatred towards someone would be impossible since you'd use the same word as love.

I understand your point, go tell some Arabian that they suck in English and they'll happily continue what they were doing... But a language requires these differing strengths in words, shall we say? It allows you to express what your ideas more clearly.

hence qby I don't want being raped or being assaulted to have ita strength reduced by desensitization . In such a world, raping someone would have the same strength and severity as cussing.

Ideal? Hardly.
Some may argue that to block children from visually offensive content is only prolonging the inevitable..

I don't really agree with that stance, and this is why.

There should be a stage of innocence in our lives, a time where violence, sex, and gore doesn't corrupt a youthful mind.
Don't get me wrong, I do think children should be taught about death, and about sex at a certain age,
but that is the extent of it. There is no reason for a child to be exposed to the corruption of this world if they don't have to be.
We will become all too familiar with all of this when we get older, we should have the safety of our childhood to lament upon.
my parents told me about sex when i was in second grade
