Minecraft Troubleshooting

Okay, so about a month ago i was even newbier than i was now (if you can belive it) and i had very little experience with making mods. While i was trying to make one i changed ALOT of stuff i didnt need to. I changed some of my .minecraft folder, which was neccessary but i also changed my comptuer path settings. Also i changes Java or installed a different one, something stupid like that.

The mod of cource didnt work but neither did minecraft. The downloadable laucher, minecraft.exe did not work at all(as in wouldnt start up). Even the browser version of minecraft wouldnt work.

Then i reinstalled the up-to0date normal java and deleted everything minecraftish and reinstalled minecraft. Now minecraft works in browser mode but my minecraft.exe still wont work! It seems like mod's and stuff only work on the downloaded minecraft.

the only thing i couldnt restore was the minecraft path file or whatever.

Sorry i have bad hacking or computer vocab becuz i obviously dont know what im doing.

I would be blessed if u could help me 1 of 2 ways.

1) tell me how or if minecraft could work in browser...
2) tell me how to fix my minecraft.exe so i can mod on that.
