I believe he has faked his death, he was way too smart to get hit in his own mansion.
There are two possibilities imo.
One : 'He' faked his death.
Two : 'He and America' faked his death

If it's the first one he's still free and could be anywhere in this world.
If it's the second he probably is being held in captivity and is paying for all the sadness he has brought on mankind.

Anyways I think he IS alive.
It's on no ones interest for him to be killed, especially on the peace side.If he were to be killed for real I can't imagine another September 11th.
