Not really shocked,since all this stuff has been around pre-titan and didn't get patched for a long while.

Aaaand both of those were patched. But this is potentially a lot worse than a console. We're dicking about with the files that define what the game is and how it operates.

Not in an emergency patch though,took a long while.

But your right,the files were fucking with have more potential then just a console ever will.

Maybe we should find a way to set values for health n other things like that in a DLL. They cant patch that.

lets hope they do not find a way to patch it so we cannot mess with hfs lol then again if that were to happen which i don't think it will i am sure hell demon and the others would come up with a solution ^ ^

They'll probably have to come up with a new encryption key, reencrypt all of the files and then make everyone download the entire client again. That last patch was pretty huge, it seemed like virtually every file was replaced. I can't imagine people being happy having to download several gig patches everytime the key gets broken.

Maybe they want more and update a big patch. There were 2 emergency maintenance last week, they cant give player more maintenance now

Yes. They can change the encryption and force everyone to redownload all the secured HFS files. Which will do for us until Fovea has a chance to recrack and update his signer <.>

And then we all reapply our patches to the new files, repack them with the new signer, and we're back in action. :P The only final solution, of sorts, is to implement some kind of checksum verification at runtime. Then it would require some debugging and the like that I'm not qualified to comment on
