Reformat is the last resort. Firstly, Do a CFC scan then do a MBAM scan along with GMER rootkit scanner. Save the hijackthis and CFC log then copy and paste them into pastebin.
Remove any infections that MBAM scanned. After all this... Use CCLeaner to get rid of the dirt and etc.... Also remember to use a anti-virus if you don't have a untrusty person using the computer. Else just use DeepFreeze in your systemfiles.
You can also try to do a system restore. If he disabled it then try to look for reg edit things... I am kinda lazy to type in-case it's disabled.
