Error on start up..

every time I run MW2 on Steam it says Hack Detected and closes.. I close all thing it may think is hack and it still says it..

I think they ban by the GUID.

And that is like: Account Sticked.

they don't
they only ban by account
so if you hacked on that account your screwed buy a new mw 2 code and make a new account and you can play again

You are simply banned, or your account is.

You can make a new account and buy the game again if you want to play. They ban Steam accounts not IP's or MAC addresses.

I think you can play on a banned account using MW2 Liberation, but i'm not sure. It's a long time since i tried. I don't use my banned account...

You are banned from MW2, period. Get a new copy of the game or jump over to AlterIW.
