Hello,
I was wondering, how do I host my own server and give it a domain.
Like with xampp you can make a local server. I want that but for everyone. And also make it have a domain instead of the ip.
Can someone give me a link to somewhere that explains how to do this. Or just explain here if it's not too long.
(Windows or Linux, no Mac please)

If you want to host it at home, download err, some LAMP like XAMPP and set it up.
Make sure you've port forwarded port 80 (and 443 if you want SSL) to your computer, purchase a domain, set the nameservers to some DNS service like http://dns.he.net, set the A and/or AAAA record(s) to your home IP, wait a bit, and viola.
