I got a C++ book in January 2008
I failed at it
I started fosho in spring of 2008.
I RQ.
I started again in summer 2009.
I RQ.
I start in summer of 2010
I do not RQ.
I code on and off until Feb/March 2011
I code hardcore from then.
I code on and off since late march.
A major reason is because Setting up SDL for each and every project in Visual studio 2008 was a pain in the buttocks.

But seriously, project ideas are a lot easier to come by with winforms (at least in my case anyway) or even web shit. Join me in C#, don't let @Melodia corrupt your mind against the lubbly jubblyness of .NET

Im learning C# for 2 -3 days and i think its awesome!
practise more and go for freelancing =) =)
