Read the manual that came with it. Go to this site https://www.vanillavisa.com/product.htmlⓘ and activate it. Says it right in the manual. Had this problem when I bought one tryna use it for xbox live. Just activate it there and you'll be good.

Go back to the card thing again. I don't remember exactly what I did, but there's something there to activate it. Make sure you put the information in right, just look on that page you were at before. It's been a while since I used the card.
