Help me can i get banned for

playing a burned game and play the burned game online please reply!

I don't think so because you haven't put any custome firmware on the PS3 or physically changed the hardware then you shouldn't be banned but if you have then the likelyhood of you getting banned increases.

This is just a 50-50 shot in my opinion

@Justind so can i get banned or not or if i put a custom firmware on PS3 can PSN detect it and i get banned online? can they detect the system like xbox?

will i get banned when psn comes back on cuz i have the custom frimwire lol

Ok you need CFW to play burned games
If you have CFW you'll get banned
You can't play online for any burned games anyway
It wouldn't be bannable if you have the original copy though

@NegroTwinkie so |PS3 is like xbox360 you can get banned for modifying the console and cannot play online?

You don't always get banned if you have CFW, The only reason you get banned for having CFW is if Your actually running the Homebrew applications such as FTP Servers, back up managers and File Mangers!

This is because every time you login to play online a list of Rcently run applications (Games are classified under Applictions) an encrypted list gets sent to Sony in the form of Numbers and letter (eg: 6gidtel6484 may = Black Ops)

Well ya but 99% of people that put CFW on their PS3 want to install 3rd Party Apps.

Well no your account gets banned not the system, I think
Brandon, if you used the file manager for small stuff like Emulators or Burned 1 Game
Then you might get a 30 day ban

I dont want to install third party applications all i want is to play a burned game online.

Installing third party applications is the only way to play Burned Games, unless there is a Chip available that I'm unaware of?

If remember I also used third party applications to Hack MW2, all you need to do is have a recent game such as crysis 2 and it will install firmware 3.56 therefore circumventing any possible chance of you getting banned, but will lose the ability to run Modded lobbies

find the orignal OFC online or fully formate ur ps3 than update :P and u shouldn't be banned
