You never need to buy windows. Cracked 7 versions with a good loader work just as well as bought versions. You can buy one, and probably a little more recommended, but its certainly not your only option.

If you really want to be legit, yes. But you can always torrent it.

1TB is not a lot. Especially now. An extra $40 for a whole 500GB is not going to kill the build. CBF to find a non BE CPU, but you wont be looking at any more than $20-$40 price different. Less because its older. MB doesnt have 'too much stuff' and the RAM is not overrated, its nice. He can substitute some regular G.Skill RAM and only get one HDD to get the $500 and skimping on some other parts will drop it lower.

Adding in the GPU I put with yours would work too. I didnt really look at the one you posted though.
Download it on another computer to a DVD then boot with that DVD on your new computer. It's only about 3-4gigs

thought so
thanks for the help guys...

and last questions for the day:
will my parts be able to screw into any case or does it need to be made for the parts?
and what about the dvd drive? does it work with any motherboard?
Any case is fine. Unless it's a special motherboard which it's not

ty again
so it comes to $400 for parts (hopefully under $50 postage)
wont be getting a graphics card straight away because i need to pay for some tools, keyboard and a cable for the screen. i reckon it might even be under $500 without the graphics card

It will be under $500.

Newegg.com - ECS NGTX550TI-1GPLI-F GeForce GTX 550 Ti (Fermi) GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

550Ti is only $130 here BTW
Don't get a 550ti, it's literally just a renamed 450. My graphics card stomps in both of them.
