Help Needed! Client Error/Issue?

Hello, MPGH!

I am asking for any help available. Since the latest patch, I have been unable to play League of Legends. I have since re-installed, updated everything that could possibly be updated on my pc and am out of ideas. When I open the launcher and press play, the launcher closes and nothing happens. However the launcher, not the client, remains in the task list of Task Manager. It does not appear on the toolbar of my desktop either and can only be closed via the Task Manager. I receive no error messages or pop-ups from League of Legends. Ask for and name any log files you might need me to upload (the directory has changed).

EDIT: So About an hour ago, I was on my desktop and said "Hell, why not try it one more time". Opened League of Legends, pressed Play, waited for a few antagonizing seconds after the launcher closed and BAM! The client finally decided to show itself. Apparently there's quite a few people having this problem since the patch, but I guess just try opening it repeatedly and it'll eventually work. Come to think of it, I had the log file open as I did it.
