Hey guys, just a quick release here, i've found this little software that lets you transform any Image/Picture into an authentic pixel art with Minecraft Blocks.
You can choose wich blocks to use, and also the Height and Width of the resulting minecraft blueprint.
It will also give you the exact amount of each block that you will need to make your picture in-game.

I've compressed a folder with the software inside (.jar executable)

How to use:
-Press "Browse" to choose your picture
-Press "Options" to select the blocks you want to use
-Press "Max Width" and "Max Height" to set how many blocks wide and high you want your result to be
-Press "No max width" or "No max height" if you want the program to decide for you
-Press "Browse" in "Options" to choose your texture pack
-Press "Side View" or "Top View" to see how it will look from different angles

People should know, that using this will make images with obscene proportions. Its not very practical if you ask me, seeing as how the image it makes cant effectively be used as a guide.

Hmmmm, not sure what you mean, but it sure has been usefull for me, you can choose all the materials you want, also change the height and width as i said, after you get the result you can scroll through it and zoom-in and out

I have it, had it for a while, and its been virtually no use. The only thing its useful for is telling you what blocks to use for what color. And that should be pretty self explanatory.

Because when dealing with pixel art, you need to be able to use it pixel by pixel. That program takes this small sprite:

And turns it into this picture:

So while it can be useful for figuring out your materials, and possibly what blocks to use for what colors, it really cant be used as a practical sprite guide.

i dont get it? whats it meant to be used for?

Well, ok i've used it, maybe its not the best but it helps a little bit, maybe someone here will find it usefull.
