Nexon checking

i think for some reason i now know how nexon detect if ur using a hacked hfs or not
coz when they patched ep 7 they are checking ur current hfs folder so if u didnt replace ur hack hfs folder with the original one before patching they will detect that ur using a hacked hfs so in other words replace ur hack hfs folder with the original one before maint/patch

lol yea that while u just delete the curret.txt thingy n get ur hfs files back by pacthing it then u just replace it with the new hfs hacks..

coz when i try to put my original hfs folder after using exzboss ep 7 hfs then when i click on the launcher hackshield pops up and then after the vindictus logo theres an error so i tried to reinstall it then i see below the vindictus patcher that before they patch things they're checking hfs ..

Do you mean CurrentInfo.txt in the en-US folder?

You do realize its been checking the HFS files after every update since day 1...Anyway, yeah no more threads until you actually learn something.

I'm pretty sure they check and then delete them but nothing happens. Like I didn't get ban or anything. I didn't even change the files back LOL

Same here, I just patched on top of the hacked hfs files, and I did that the last 2 patches as well. No bans yet.

IMHO you don't need to worry about getting banned from having modded hfs... I'd safely bet that over half of us on this forum that use modded hfs files just patch over them and haven't been banned yet.

What you DO need to worry about getting you banned is if your dumb enough to party while running a modded client. That's why I have 2 installations of Vindictus... one stays legit always (I run that one to party with other players) and the other one has the shortcut on the desktop named "HAX" so I know it's the modded installation and I only solo when running that one... just my recommendation but to each their own.

p.s. to you tards that actually party with people knowing you have a hacked installation running, you suck because you are the reason this stuff gets patched and I feel no pity when you get banned.
