So my brother never logged on until today after the outage, and he cannot reset the password from the PS3 since an email was sent to the email he registered. He forgot the password for the email and now cannot change his password in order to log in.
Do you guys know how to reset the password without the email?

My account said to reset using an email
The email was never sent
Then a day later I was able to restore from PS3

I mean call the ps3 help desk the change the password for you

call sony you only need to have the ps3 you always played on or smth

Does he remember his 'secret question and answer'? Try using that?

Call Sony's support number. You should have the SQ and answer, plus birthday, etc. should allow you to recover it.

He probably made the email years ago. Hard to remember it, especially if he put fake info in....
