Does anybody know how to find WEP passwords for wifi connections? I try Google but all the links are like from 2005 and I'm sure they don't work anymore.
Eh. Aircrack seemed too confusing and way out of date.

Aircrack-Ng isn't out of date ; It's CLI util, And it works great, In case you're wondering, If all posts are a bit old it's because WEP is a protocol which is very very very unsecure, And people know pretty much everything about it ; A kid with ~10 Minutes and a laptop can crack pretty much any WEP keys he wants ; If large networks relied only on security which a kido on Mpgh asking how to do so could "Crack" in 10 Minutes, They would be in trouble, This is why Handshake protocols like WPA/WPA2 were created ; They're a bit better despite having their major flaws ; At least they're less friendly to sniffing, But what can we do ? ;p Nothing is perfect (:
Go try and mess around with the backtrack suite ; You'll find everything you need if you have a card that supports Injection, If you don't, You'll be mad at every piece of software for "cracking" wireless networks, So you should go buy some supported USB one, All required info in on your friend google.
Personally I use a modded version of KisMAC because it works great and I dunnlike to reboot my laptop / boot not-so-used VM's, It works great and fast, And is pretty friendly if you're not targetting a network with RADIUS authentification, Else it's a little more complicated that that .
