Automatically updated?

I was trying to play on the Mpgh server but it updated to 1.6 0_o How can I downgrade back to 1.5 and keep it that way?

It's easy. If you have edited the host file, all you need to do is replace the minecraft.jar with the 1.5_01 jar version. You may find it in the link below
