Thanks for the tutorial, but I'm getting something wrong. I wind up with a smaller file size than the original that's in the iwd file. I've done custom skins many times doing the hex editing myself so that's not the problem, anyone care to enlighten me on what may be the case? I just want a simple scope yet it insists on not working.

Does anyone know when changing for example the Red Dot sight, if you can change it to some other color other than red? I made a simple Cross but would like it to be a different color.

I read in the tutorial that it has to be white (The actual crosshair) otherwise it would show up transparent in the game. I drew it green at first and it was transparent. Where do you change the color for it? Even if someone can show me a screenshot of what they did would help a lot.
WTF PROBLEM?
So I did everything that is shown in the tutorial until I get to the point where I have to hex-edit the files. I managed to copy and paste the first 2 lines, and replaced 4x00. But when it comes to cutting the last 4 bits of code (e.g A6 5A 68 B4), I don't get it. I only have 4 bits of code there already and if i remove them, it says the size of the file will change. o.O whats going on?
