I Got an email. from:

noreply@Jagex.com


saying:

We are happy to inform you that you could be chosen for a Runescape Player Moderator.
Becoming a Player Moderator may sound fun and interesting however, it also requires honesty, hardwork and patience as you need to abide by the rules and help players.
If you would like to apply please click here
If your account isn't automatically logged in, please enter your Runescape username and password and paste this processing key : DELETED CODE where prompted.

IS IT A SCAM?

What does it link to?

If it's official, it's usually going to have a noreply@[companyname].com, not noreply[companyname]. And any email like that is usually scam anyways, unless you've applied for a spot like that.

its a scam.... jagex said that they will never email you they will use the in game message center and heres a forum post

Any email about infractions, betas, or moderator positions are scams. All they have to do is spend a lil $ and they can make it look very official.

The only legit email I've gotten from Jagex is when I try to recover accounts and it lets me know the status.

np and if that was real id would just send u one of those email and make you follow it :P
