[Help] Game Freezing?

Game Freezing?

Well basically when i log in and try to join a server sometimes it says connecting please wait and dosen't go away. also when i join a room and press join the join button gets greyed out and the game freezes. Also after every round when i press the back button ( the little arrow thing looks like this <= ) the game freezes as well. I already sent a complaint to z8 support and nothing. So I was wondering if anyone here has a fix for it?? Theres a thread on z8 fourms.

Try updating your drivers

it is your internetconnection or your computer who is to slow

I updated my drivers and still the same. On the fourm alot of other people are having this problem as well. Maybe its the may 26th patch. thats when i started freezing.

Close any un-needed programs that might be slowing down your computer.

everything is closed. i ccleaned all my process all thats active in background is windows stuff.

i guess it is the patch then

Prob an error just like the incorrect map info thingy.

Defrag PC and Scan registry for errors.
If you RAM is 1gb then get 2GB or better.

Disable your AV.
Uninstall and delete every CF Folder.Empty the recycle bin.
Uninstall unwanted stuff.
Re download and re install Cross Fire.
Change the Set Affinity to CPU 0 only.
And change the resolution to minimum.(Cross Fire Settings.)

I Defraged my Pc and Scanned and fixed registry errors. no dice.
Takari what do you mean when you say set affinity CPU 0?

I fixed it. YAY. i had a ip hider for the ******s i del it and it worked. lol.it wasnt running though. but still. who cared. more CF!
