Response from server delayed?

I tried logging in today, but i keep getting the pop up message "Response from server delayed"
Am I banned or has it got something to do with my VPN?

There are maintenances every tuesday, just try again in 50 mins

The message in game about the "scheduled" maintenance, that started at 1 AM EST, indicated it would be about a 3 hour maintenance. It gave about 8 minutes of warning.
