smartphone or tablet

I currently have Samsung vibrant as my smartphone. I'm thinking about selling my smartphone, add some extra cash and get a tablet (Motorola xoom maybe) and use a regular cellphone (not smartphone) as my cellphone.

I mostly use my smartphone for browsing web, watching videos, playing games etc.. I figured why not do those in a bigger screen with faster processor, more ram, better battery life, and it's still portable, just doesn't fit in a pocket only..

What do you think?

idk man it's going to be a pain in the ass having to carry around two things at once especially if the tablet wont fit in your pockets. I'd stick with a vibrant. I'd get a vibrant myself if I had the cash.

What do you usually do on a day to day basis. What's your weekend plans , hobbies etc;

Tablets are a burden to carry for me.

Tablets are way to unhandy to use instead of a smartphone...Will never sell my goold ol HTC, those are just beast...and why buy a tablet if you have a notebook?

My brother has a Samsung Galaxy Tab, he's a pretty large guy... he can fit it in his pockets. lol

Get a smartphone.

How much did you end up paying for your Samsung Vibrant? Also, how much a month?

it would be weird carrying the tablet everywhere i go.

wake up, use my phone for a hour or two, go to work, come home, computer, dinner and sleep. When i'm not working, i just go to my friends place.

I only browse web, watch videos, play games etc on my phone site why not do those in a bigger screen.

i paid $300 cash for my vibrant. Bought it some months ago from craigslist. It was around that price range at that time. I don't have data plan so its only $40 a month.
