For the most part you only really need to worry about ram, your gfx card, and your hard drive speed.

Actually not true.. Now a a days, you just need a decent processor, decent graphics, around 1-2 gb's free of ram.

No you don't. I can slap in my gfx card into my old pc and it'll run newer games like a champ.

your soo fucking dumb let me guess you used to work for the "geeksqude" or whatever bro most newer pc run 1.90 dual core and 2.20s tis all you need then like one 480 or 260 or 240 whatever and you can run pretty much anything not all on high but still most newer cards dont need a high proseser becuz there fucking gpu is better and the card just uses the gpu not the pcs ram maybe like 10% ram is gonna get used and the proseser naw all you need is pretty much a crap compaq and away you goo stop trying to look smart your playing with the big boys ******

The fucking processor is to basically keep the game running you dumbass.
The GPU just takes care of fancy graphics/3d texturing.
The RAM is to aid the processor by allowing more streams to be processed.

And no I did not work for the "geeksquad". But I am a freelance builder/repairer

Computer business is always hard to understand

i kinda inderstand it but not the part from games what the best is to run a game
