VIP?

So.. I just went and bought VIP, now what?
Dave mentioned that I may need to wait, at most, 24 hours.
But how will I know when I've been approved?
PM or something?

Just wait for the time to pass. After that you will be notified and the VIP will be activated for you. Your VIP will expire after a month though...
