Please check your friend list, better yet bot with no1 on FL

This has been said before, and whats more it is common sense.

IF YOU BOT PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU DON'T HAVE ANYONE WHO WILL BE ABLE TO REPORT YOU!

Better make a separate account/char which has 0 friends and BOT on it.

I don't want to call you out in game for obvious reasons, but we haven't talked, in a long time, the only reason your name was left on my FL cause I still was trying to remember who's alt or what not you are. But Weeping Queen poping up every minute and a half, and then you lvling in 15, 20, 25 minute intervals, is a dead give away.

But what if all my friends are hackers too?

Yeah this isn't a really good indicator of hacking. Here are a few excuses:

- Farming ores
- Spearing an certain enemy for a title
- Hoping for a specific miniboss (you can tell from the first map in some battles)
- Dying/disconnecting repeatedly (not very believable)

Of course, if they see you leveling up super fast then it's over for you.

I don't think many would believe any of the excuses.
If they report you, they wouldn't ask you for haxing.

I just say disable the Nexon Messenger or just delete all your friends and join a guild with them in it.

I coulda sworn the message only show up when you're in town, how do you disable the messenger if you don't mind me asking?

Just played with the NMService file, copy and paste to another location in order to retain friends/guild if you want to come back on the radar, then delete the NMService in the Vindictus directory(where the hfs folder is etc.) to go into stealth mode.

I would just like to keep things the way they are but not to give notices to others when i started the boat, titled, or lvled.

Generally try to afk for like 10-15 minutes, or just run the dungeon if i'm bored with 1 hit kill still takes time, and I can say I had a killer party. when I'm about to lvl or get a title from a match.

You can also tell people hey I started queen, but died (which actually happened a lot when your's truly was trying to solo the queen when it first came out without mods). But when somebody goes up 3 lvls within 2 hours in their lvl 60's, while they have been starting a queen every 2 minutes for those hours... I'm sorry, even if somebody wasn't suspicious, it'll raise some red flags.

I know most here are aware of this, I know there have been threads started, on how to play, and yet somehow some people still overlooked it. I bet if you guys mentioned common sense precautions, in huge bold red letters in your release posts, we'd still see certain very special specimens missing the whole thing.

That was actually a reason I started the thread about this, not to worn only that one guy but to remind some others like him what not to do. I bet he isn't the only one.

Sorry for the rant, but the dude is doing this non stop, and all I can do when I log in is facepalm.

Really, the most simple solution is to delete your friends. Just write their names on a paper so you can add them again when you start playing legit (if ever).

Just a question, I know that even if you delete your friends off your list, say PlayerA you delete from your friends list PlayerA will still have you on their friends list can he / she still see the notifications when you start a new boat or is it hidden now?

Youre still on his list but he cant see your notifications. And he doesnt have to accept if you add him again.
