I'm training my melee right now. I need a few suggestions, should I train attack or combat? Hit harder or more often?

As of now, my stats are:

Attack - 18
Defence - 30
Strength - 10

train str if you want to hit super high, my def is at 63 for a level 77. Which is pretty high for a level 77 since most people try to go pure now which is actually fail unless you train your pure rightly. Most of the time i just tank the shots the pure hits on me and instead i can damage them since they have low def and all they care about is attack.

I could always share the EXP, but that slows everything down.

I never use share exp, idk why but i just hate it lol. Just get auto fighter bot and bot in al-kahrid where all the npcs just charge to you

or some other place i can't remember any atm.

I'm manually training in Al-Kharid right now. So do you suggest I train defence? Because I train defence whenever I'm training ranged.

Well idk most people go more aggressive which is only train the attack based stats, what i do is train def so its not too low, but thats my opinion i don't wunna go giving you the wrong idea and screwing up your character =.=

My aim is to level everything to 99.

well, just fight al-kahrid warriors for now doing hw so i can't think of a good place (strong hold security?). But i think theres a lot in mem world because when i was mem i remember lots of easy npc that don't hit you hard and you can still get lots of exp.
oh yeah btw don't bot 24/7 especially over night jagex will do roll backs.

Order of training is Strength -> Attack -> Defence

Always do yaks or rock crabs if they're not crowded on off hours.

But don't you need a higher attack to wield certain weapons?

It's all about priority. I'd recommend 75 Att, 99 Str, 75 Def as a goal. You'll be fine with just rune equips, though.

Maybe thats the right combo looks right but idk. I'm able to still tank a lot of pures and im only level 77 def 62

I'm 80 atk , 91 str , 78 def atm.
I reccomend do 20 att , 30 def , 30 str
then 30 att , 40 str , 40 att , 40 def

If you're not going to make it a pure, I suggest you train everything to 40 first, so you're able to use Rune armour and weapons

He's not planning on PKing, he's asking general melee stats.
